Spearfield does not generate Energy for Meta Gems

Hits and effects from Spearfield seem to be unable to generate any energy. Tested with Cast on Critical and Elemental Invocation.

I am playing Invoker Monk with Elemental Expression, so I can verify that Spearfield crits are able to trigger effects. No energy is gained at all with Spearfield, but other attack crits such as Rapid Assault are able to generate energy.

To see if it was just Cast on Crit, I tried using Elemental Invocation. I disabled elemental ailments from other triggers and used Galvanic Field for a visual indicator of when Shock was applied. On a rare enemy, Rapid Assault generated 7% energy when shocking, while Spearfield generated 0.

If I drop another uncut Spirit Gem, I will try Reaper Invocation.

Tested Reaper Invocation with a character in Standard, and it also was unable to generate energy despite Spearfield counting as a melee attack for Retreat Support.

Also tested Ice Shards on crossbow as another Hazard type attack. Ice Shards were able to generate energy for Cast on Crit, so it does not seem to be a problem with the Hazard mechanics.

i tryed it all too spearfield doesnt build any energy and that is sad.I want to know what up with that too
