Does Projectile acceleration III affect frag. rounds?

Does Projectile Acceleration III gem not affect the frag rounds attack? It should be gaining a 40% projectile damage bonus, but the stats don’t show it. Does anyone have information about this?

"Increases and reductions to Projectile speed also apply to Projectile Damage" only works with "% increased projectile speed" and "% reduced projectile speed" mods.
