Converting to merchant tabs - determine which ones it will convert?

Before the league started I converted 3 tabs to merchant tabs. Now that we are a bit further along, I'd like to convert some more.

Currently I have a few empty premium tabs (4 tabs) while others are currently being used/filled with items (5 tabs).

If I were to convert a stash tab now, how do I know which ones it will convert? Will it possibly convert a tab that currently has items in it?

It doesn't matter. Items will be stored in the remove-only tab in the stash. Uncheck the "Hide remove-only tabs" option in settings.

Agreed, but I think it would be better to see some additional meta-data in the merchant tab upgrade website to provide better targeting. Something as simple as providing the name given to the tab in game or the count of items in the tab would help avoid upgrading a tab you didn't intent to. Its small but meaningful in helping making the process better.
