Atlas objectives completed without my participation

Hello, I was in a party with someone, who was helping me find crafting recipes. They didn't explain what they were doing exactly, told me to wait near the entrance of an atlas map, then they did some kind of objective which completed from i can tell, nearly every single atlas map objective for me, gave me 96 atlas skill tree points. I didn't want that to happen at all. The person was just trying to be helpful, but can i please have this undone? It's really detracting from the game for me having all this endgame content just completed instantly without my input, and it is really overwhelming to suddenly have 96 points to spend on the atlas skill tree when i don't even understand the atlas system fully yet. I haven't spent any of the atlas points yet. I would be fine with my entire atlas objective tree being reset as I had only completed 2 before this.
