about premium stash tabs upgrade to merchant tabs

so i have upgraded my default 4 stash tabs to premium long ago in 0.1/0.2

turns out, i cannot upgrade them to merchant because they are my only 4 or considered as the default.

if i buy 4 basic extra stash tabs, can i convert all of my 4 default premium tabs to merchants?

No.

I'm not sure if this is 100% true. It might be possible to upgrade them.

I have 4 basic tabs and 20 premium tabs. I was able to upgrade all 20 premium tabs to merchant and keep the 4 basic tabs. The chances that the 4 basic tabs I have left are the original 4 basic tabs I started with in 2013 is pretty much zero due to the upgrades to premium tabs being random.
