Omen of Resurgence not working

Was just doing a map and had Omen of Resurgence active in my inventory, yet i died without it activating.. I would understand if I was overkilled and still died through the Omen of Resurgence but it didn't even activate..

Any one else experienced this issue?

I'm assuming this is PoE 2's Omen of Resurgence (you're posting in PoE 1 forums).

The omen only activates upon reaching low life, which is essentially 1 hp up to 35% hp. Going from anything above that to 0 never reaches low life threshold, so the omen can't activate. Making it only useful when you take subsequent hits, not large hits.
