Yama bug -25 second delay

Yama the White.
Cast his 'chase the clone' I stood on the correct one, but the move didn't end. The safe space disappeared beneath me, but the move didn't resolve, and the music stayed the same for 25 seconds.
I didn't move for ~20 seconds, thought it was very weird it hadn't ended, thought I lagged out, waited another 5 seconds, then stepped out of the original safe space and the move triggered IMMEDIATELY.

I should have reset it when it was taking more than 10 seconds for his kill move. I'm so sad to have lost my HC character this way :(

Had this happen, too SC and in campaign so no loss, just searched to see if I missed something about the move. Stayed in the ring until it disappeared and then was surprised that I still died...
