Got a good Sceptre starter - how to finish this? Not a crafting pro, think I can make it good

Found an i79 base, p orb x 2, p regal, ended with this:



Nice. I don't know what to do next though. I'm not rich, so not looking for a +4 right now since +3 with the right mods can easily out-dps a much more expensive +4 with poop mods.

Do I p exalt x 2 + desecrate? Or do I do something else here? Guessing it's good 'as is' currently, so no need to fracture or chaos, right?

sceptres don't have specific desecrated mods so desecrating will only pull from it's regular mod pool, you'd still wanna do that and use an echo so you get 6 chances and you'd be looking for dmg% for allies/flat added dmg/attack speed. You'd could sinistral necro omen/echo to only get prefix and you'd have 6 chances to get allies dmg% which is what you're hoping for. Than it's just gamba hoping for those mods. You could try to chaos/perfect essence omen off the mana prefix but it's a 50/50 on loosing spirit if you do it before anything else or you could do it after if you hit a shitty prefix and than it would be 1/3 chance of loosing spirit.

Honestly I would leave it that way. Scepters are for mana, spirit and + minion skills. Everything else is just a bonus. Maybe if you want to get fancy you´d be looking for +crit on your minions but that's just being greedy.

Desecrate with a special mods omen might give it interesting mods, then you can do some greater exalts to maximize the power of the aura modifiers. Also in your case you really want to start with the desecrate and do the exalts next. You wouldn't want the desecrate to remove your mana or spirit.

Chaos sounds really risky.

Maaaybe risk it with a corruption to get a second socket but that would only be important if you have access to good talismans.
