How does Elemental Army Support work when supporting Summon Skeletons of Mages?

How does Elemental Army Support work when supporting Summon Skeletons of Mages? Does every mage work as a separate minion and create its own exposure? Does every hit apply exposure based on the mage's type? Does it always apply whatever the highest hit is?

You cannot apply multiple instances of exposure as far as I know.
If an enemy has a negative effect, the game engine will always take the highest roll into account unless it has a unique stacking property.
