Is there a reason Poe 2 will barely conect to the server

I know its time for Poe 1 update, but really, its gonna be hard to play unless trading is across all systems. So I would still like access to both. It takes forever for POE 2 to connect right now. But I can connect to POE 1 no problem. Why cant I quit to character selection without the game freezing? Why are my filters on console no longer loading? Why is there a filter reload button on console, but you cant click it?

The loadscreens when leaving a map are unbearable. Is the server basically gonna be dead for 1 game when the other league starts?
