[PS5] Cannot corrupt Essences

When encountering an essence, the UI still says "Use remnant of corruption".
Pressing triangle does not work, even with vaal orbs in inventory. Also, sometimes they don't have any UI visible, not even the name of the beast and kind of essences. Playing in standard, on PS5. Sometimes I cant see essence Ui too.

This issue is also effecting strongboxes. UI element is there visually to apply currency, triangle does not open currency window, nor the old method of holding x.

Same on Xbox, it also says "use remnant of corruption" but all mine were converted to Vaal orbs. Might be something they forgot to test
