Game is crashing hard before char selection

It started about 8 hours ago. The game crashed in a normal mob in Act 3 and forced my PC into restart several times (plus there were some purple dots in my screen, which got me scared as potential GPU issues). I tried reopening the game about 10 times and I can't get past char selection (still hard crashes forcing my PC into a restart loop). I tried Vulkan, cleaning my GPU cache, update my drivers, check for file integrity, unninstall and reinstalled the game again, runned several testes for my own hardware (all seemed fine). I don't know what to try anymore and with 500+ hours this has never happened to this extent before.
