Lightning rod + Rakiata's flow + +3 lightning rod

I am still working on the build / gear of this character. I am hoping to get some insight and wisdom.

I recently replaced prism of belief (+2 lightning arrow) with prism of belief (+3 lightning rod) and moved Rakiata's flow from lightning arrow to lightning rod. It seems to be working great for me.

I cannot afford a +3 lightning arrow prism of belief so I started thinking about of other ways to improve my character.

Here is my thought process and, if it's wrong, please explain it to me. Lightning arrow is mainly used for clearing. Lightning rod is mainly used for bossing and harder targets. By moving Rakiata's flow and picking up +3 LR prism, I am reducing my LA DPS but increasing my LR DPS. The drop to my LA DPS is pretty much unnoticeable. I still have 0 problems with clearing. It does, however, seem to show big increasing in bossing DPS.

I don't really see any of the top builds using this approach so am I just thinking about this wrong or missing something?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

At certain point, you just instagib bosses (with tornado/barrage) so rakiata on LA lets you push higher delirium maps. So use it on whatever suits you more, you dont have to copypaste 1:1.

Ahh good call on the delirium maps. I hadn't thought about that. I definitely don't 1:1 copy/paste which is why I tried boosting LR more. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some glaring reason that no one else really boosted LR like that and I wasn't thinking about it.

This is the Lightning Rod build I played this league and beat all the content, sharing it as a reference for you:
The important detail is using a detonator with the LR, best one is obviously Explosive Spear with less detonation time supports. It's probably one of the most fun builds I've ever played.
