Coming Calamity Deleted After Exceeding Str Requirement

The Series of Events that led to this:

I found an Uthred's Exodus, so i proceeded to transfer Direstrike 1 and Cannibalism 1 from my Charge Infusion skill gem. I proceeded to transfer these two gems to the open sockets of my Herald of Ash from my Coming Calamity which already contained Fire Mastery and Magnified Area II. At this point i had 142 Str and i was on the Maximum Limit of 28 Str Gems in my skills.

Ignoring the warning window that required my str to be 145 to proceed to slot in the Uthred's i slot it in anyway, then I went to respec my Int Stat point in to my Str stat point, and my Coming Calamity Item that was Equipped was suddenly gone, along with all the skill gems it contained.
