1 Shots are INSANELY DISGUSTING

just got 1 shot in the VERY beginning of the map, average map with 100 IIR and 20 delirium, very first mob somehow hit me THROUGH the 1600HP and 5500 ES, I didn't even realize what happened... like WTF????? WHAT THE FUCK?????

Give us some info what killed us, holy fuck!

Too many events concurrently in the screen to know what is killing you.

It could be anything or everything at the same time LOL


Too many things in the screen, that is the worst problem. They should make something with visual effects.

You don't understand, this is the gameplay that people asked for.
If some builds are able to clear screens incredibly quickly, then the only sort of counter-play the game can offer to impose a challenge on you, is to one-shot your entire life pool.

It's okay though, because this way the very top 1% of builds can farm faster, don't ruin their fun. It's fun. Are you having fun yet?
One shots are the result of infinite player sustain.

It goes like this:

Player got infinite sustain -> GGG adds one-shots to implement risk of failure -> Players go full offense in response to shorten fights -> GGG buffs enemy HP.

If they only took away player sustain instead.

100% correct.

If the player can regenerate their life pool almost instantly, then the only way to kill the player is to one-shot the entire life pool.

What's more, is that the game then becomes balanced with this meta in-mind, and a huge majority of builds that do not conform to this standard become virtually non-viable.

Chaos damage?

Chaos damage extra is 23 IR. (If I remember)

So a chaos crit is very possible one shot.

devs are like " we want meaningful combat"
but then make bosses and mobs able to one shoot u
then the player goes full glass cannon
then they buff the boss hp& dmg
and repeat
i got to say its "Super meaningful" combat
its either u one shoot the mobs/bosses
or get one shoot by them
so meaningful everyone goes full dmg build whit barely 10-12 point into defences
just enough to survive trash mobs .

ES is really good. You can get it above 10k and then you will almost never die.

Even with no armor and 50 chaos, this is 10 40 40 40 10.

Unfortunately not all classes have access to the top of the tree.

And armor is complete garbage, man.
