Mana Cost Efficiency has no effect

Hi there,

I have a Ice Nova spell which costs 49 mana. Then, I select two nodes in the Efficient Casting skill where each of them gives %8 mana cost efficiency. However, after those selected skills my Ice Nova spell still costs 49 mana.

NOTE: I have a staff which gives +3 levels for all cold spells but I dont know if it matters.

Not sure if what you have is a bug or not but know that +x levels on weapons/gears drains mana like crazy =)

sure and that totally makes sense because you are casting it from higher levels :) and I am trying to utilize my mana but it looks like the cost efficiency doesn't have any effect mathematically which is annoying.

I know tooltips are often incorrect and not reflected by change in the tree.

Do you see no difference in the mana use after speccing in it on your mana bar/number?
That might help to know if it's a bug.

Wouldnt be the first node bugging =)

I have spec into thoose nodes and i have no problem, it does make a difference, even with +skills on gear. But i'm not using ice nova.
