Bloody Hell.

Today I was surprised on a T16 map. Whenever there's a ritual, I only check after completing all 4. My surprise came when I opened it to see what was there: a For Utopia charm. I smiled, because these altars always give me level 1 and 2 "blue" orbs with no value whatsoever.

However, the bombshell was the tribute value to get the charm!!!!

Are you sitting down??? 26668 tributes. That's right, you read that correctly. And to grant "Defer," the value is over 6000 tributes.

Honestly, there are things in PoE2 that are enough to make you tear your hair out...

And nothing more will be said...

i honestly dont understand why they made the defer cost so high , and then created a tablet to " reduce" the defer cost to make it some what realistic price to defer if ur lucky.
which also GL finding those tablets in SSF lol
well to be honest GL finding ANY Ritual tablets in ssf right now xD
there is a super low chance u get anything good in ritual and then there is the second rng if u will be able to defer the item or not ...

This is why you need to run the appropriate tablets and have the appropriate atlas passives.

It seems you did not.

Missing a valuable item, or even a mirror is hardly the first post about rituals on this forum.

One of the guys have defered 5 splinters.

They say "go big or go home", and this is the absolute truth about rituals.

Reading this, it's a joke, "appropriate tablet"...

Did you even read what you just said???. So the item costs 26668K tributes, and I have to get a crystal ball to guess that???. my "inappropriate" tablet with IQ and extra XP, and 25% extra tribute from monsters. And I have 100% of my ritual passives completed in the passive tree. Just to dismantle your narrative, my passives are:
Tempting Offers
Ominous Portents
Spreading Darkness
Promised Devotion.


That amount of tributes for 1 item, is surreal and unbelievable. Seriously... what you said is a joke. To put it mildly. Fan boys with level 70 should stop blaming real players for game's failures.

OP you are right. I m also meeting with "Dextral Annulment" Omens they are 26k Tribute points "LOOOOOL". I never seen a game that hates players too much for getting currency/item outside of POE2...

Quantity is not a guarantee for quality, unfortunately.

Your IQ and extra XP obviously have absolutely no effect on rituals whatsoever.

By appropriate tablets I meant tablets that are focused on farming this endgame mechanic.

Also keep in mind that I mention "TABLETS" - as more than one. You need to commit to this if you want to get something huge.

Also, on your atlas setup - it is considered to be optimal by sites like maxroll etc. But I found that reinvigorating sacrifices is huge in the long term.

In the few cases where I really needed it (double defer) this node alone delivered.

You should consider making some adjustment to your farming strategy.

~50 purple omens this patch.

The drop rates are more than acceptable. Like 3/4 from rituals, 1/4 boss farming.

It is better than ever.
