Can't seem to level up past 89 with my current build (lightning crossbow mercenary)

Hello,

First time trying this in forums, so forgive my ignorance if I say something that seems obvious.

Been bashing my head against the wall trying to get the right build to tackle the harder waystones (pretty much 14 and up), and I've done plenty of running with higher level players to get currency for gear (though even then, divine orbs are a bitch to find and everyone wants to trade using them)but I still keep dying trying to do waystones on my own.

I've beefed up my resistances, working on getting more life and mana, but I'm struggling with getting more regeneration. I can't for the life of me find a good enough crossbow with the right balance of lightning and elemental damage, attack speed, level buff, and other things to do more than a small amount of damage on bosses and some level enemies.

I'm tempted to just start another build, but I've put so much time and energy into this character.

Any help would be appreciated.

Huh? I specced out of lightning crossbow because it was doing stupid dmg with little investment.

I recomend u using an omen of ameleration the one that when u die u keep 75% of exp.. its a little expensive if u can afford to trade currency for those omens(few chaos orbs) or doing rituals and be Lucky to get those omens.

Are all of your resists 76%+

the game devolves to this at the end.

You are going to die unless you can screen kill.
The white mobs will one shot you.
Abyss mobs will kill you as soon as souleater and void walker appear.

If you want to level , then do that.
Its boring as ass.

you probably get exp running T14 still to the point where you can see the bar move during a map. If you can sustain them ....

Run blue maps
1)No Extra content
2)No Ritual
3)No Abyss

Just blue maps with maximum mob density.
The second anything looks dangerous in the slightest ... run away.
When you level .... buy all the maps ... and go do the most challenging stuff you can while at 0% exp to next level ....

Then play like a scared little bitch.
cause thats what ARPG hero's do!
