I would rather play diablo 4 then poe 2 in its current state

Zero hype from me because I know they have changed nothing to make the game better. Druid might be cool to play for like 1 day until you realize the overall game is not moving in better direction.

I will just leave it here. This "league" will have the worst retention ever.

after you finish D4 within a week, you'll come crawling back like you always do as D4 has 0 end-game

0.3.0 was a great league. The only annoying thing was abyssals every map. And they even fixed it.

Worse retention than Poe's fabulous Keepers League?, which bored me in less than two weeks?

So far, all the leagues in Poe 2 have given me over 600 hours of gameplay each, so allow me to doubt it.

They made massive changes to make the game better what the heck.

- Greatly improved game performance
- Removed unneeded bloat on crafting waystones also improved tablets
- Improved visual clarity
- Fixed tons of bugs
- Balance changes
- New amazing Class (Lets be honest Druid is the most ambitious Class any ARPG has ever done)
- Added an entire new End Game dungeon crawl mechanic with crazy new crafting and customization of stats/gear.
- New Uber Boss Azteri
- Made more adjustments to mapping and buffed end game items and uniques.
- 250 new passive nodes

I'm sure I'm missing some other huge wins to be excited about but just the performance alone is massive. Saying there were no changes to make the game better is a factually wrong take.

Doubtful with the above listed. Not to mention so many build options with druid and the Oracle ascendancy. Fixing performance issues and adding so much this season to create engaging gameplay and replayability.

I'm extremely hype for this season and there will be all time peak numbers and retention. Also PoE 2 is shaping up to have the best campaign of any ARPG which is extremely important for retention. PoE 2 is now thee ARPG in the genre.

Comparing to Diablo4 doesn't make any sense anymore, that game is so underneat the pile of garbage that I would rather play anything else. If a league/season isn't interesting I'll simply skip it.

I bought Diablo IV on release and played it for less than 60 hours. I haven't touched it since, not even the discounted expansion has tempted me. Diablo is worse than Diablo III, which was already a disaster.
