Poe2 endgame

I feel like PoE2 really needs a proper “impossible” endgame boss — something crazy hard that only a few players in the whole game could actually beat. Make it a 6-player fight where everyone has to build around team buffs, coordination, and actual strategy.

To keep it balanced, maybe you can only fight it once a week, and you need to be at least level 95 or 100. And the faster your group kills it, the better the loot drops.

Right now the campaign feels more rewarding than the endgame, because there isn’t really a big goal to work toward. Once you’re geared and leveling, it all starts to feel kind of pointless.

Having a super hard, “almost impossible” final boss would give people something huge to chase — and it could even be added to a leaderboard for bragging rights.

What do you guys think?

Empy and their 1000Billion DPS team will still kill it anyway.

I think it's a bad idea. All content needs to be accessible to all players, given enough dedication. And definitely not require other players to do the encounter with them. Sounds like MMO territory.

People just want to gain power and farm better loot in their ARPGs. Eventually farming other builds to test or just spend a hundred hours per season experiencing the new stuff and then waiting for the next season.
what you describe is an MMORPG raid boss.

Wrong genre.

Do folks seriously not understand the type of game they are playing?
Starting anew....with PoE 2
