Combo playstyle , if u want it to be a thing remove consider this
1) dont make it the only playstyle viable there are many "lazy" players that want to press 1 button. 2)remove the +1 second to cast from those skills and "force" position lock make all skills Instant to cast/atk for example Lightning conduit why whould i use it on a spark or arc build as a secondary skill if i can spam spark or arc and keep walking if Lighting conduit force stop my character to stand in one place and takes 1 second to cast? if i can just keep walking and spam spark? and keep avoiding from begin hit by mobs? Didnt u notice that all the skills that have +1 sec to cast nobody is using them? for example Spear builds why would i use Thunderous leap ? while ur in the "air" u can get hit and it takes 1,1 sec to do the atk why would i use it insted of just spam lighting spear?(same thing for leap slam) or Perfect strike why only 0.2% of player on poe2 ninja use it? u need to stand in one place hold ur button to "charge" the hit and release on time to land the hit ? why would u use it? many of those skills that have +x time to cast are actually very cool but the majority will never use them because they have the downside of x amount of time to cast the skill i would love to use those skill but i will never use them Here is an example of a good combo play we have in the game and ppl use Lighting spear +prima stike galavanic shards+shockburst rounds they have their Condition to use , u need to shock ur target in order for those skills to do dmg but they feel good to use becasue they do not have +1 sec to cast now imagine they had +1 sec to cast it would feel terrible wouldn't it ? or Plasma Blast did u see some one use it unless they are using it as an "opener" in a boss fight ? that skill look Fantastic but nobody uses it for clearing maps because of the charge time and most bosses will not allow u to use it mid fight. GGG please Remove this nonsense of +x time to cast u have made some Fantastic looking skills LET us use them rebalance their dmg if needed but make them Playable and not a pain in the ass to use . i would love to play Sunder or Perfect strike or any of those skills but i will never use them because of the x time to cast . and i feel like im not the only one who thinks that way . I have to say, I'm not a fan of combo playstyle, but I would take it. What really puts me off, though, is the cast times. I makes everything feel sloggy, _especially_ comboing. I know what I want to do, but I have to slow myself down to a point I find uncomfortable and also not reactive enough for the stuff happening on the screen (basically getting swarmed by many mobs).

Now let's discuss an example:
Whirling Assault. It will be buffed from 1.4s to 1s added Attack time. Skill Gem itself has no attach speed mods, so it is just the weapon speed +1s. When you get rid of +1s, base Attack speed would be reduced to compensate. Also the Attack speed stat would become more effective on that ability, because now it affects whole Attack Time part, not only what's besides the +1s. So I would say, considering how GGG is handling stuff, that with your proposal we would get slower baseline on these abilities, but we could stack attack speed to make it work. It would make it worse for no attack speed stackers. Your example of lightning conduit: If you remove the +cast time, you could use the ability to just one button spam on mapping when stacked cast speed. GGG specifically doesn;t want that. Conduit seems to be intended for bossing only, and the +cast time limitation is the way of achieving that. Is it a good method? I don't know. It just is what it is. I am not saying your idea is bad or that +time is good. I am just saying that removal of it will drag some aftermath behind and it could be worse than what's here now. Your focus is on how ability "feels". You gotta add the balance GGG have in mind to the equation. "lower some damage" as compensation is not really convincing me to your idea. " Exactly ! That is why Combo play style work in campaign and not work in end game . but if those combo skill were Instant to cast it would be a different story . |

Integrate stamina and dodge mechanics to combo skills, so u can not spam same combos with dodge mechanics.
All players are just, Boss Hit -> dodge, attack or skill/spell. Make it interesting and do hit -> dodge -> skill -> Hit /Dodge |

" attack ->dodge -> attack ->dodge is the game Ideology this is what their "games view" so what are u talking about ? stamina bar of any kind is a bad idea the only game that did it somewhat right was diablo2 and the only thing the stamina bar was for is warlk/run . |
