The Quarterstaves suffix to level of all melee skills still wrost than the Essence suffix

The Essence suffix can give all the Herald skills level but the original suffix can not buff that

But native Qstaff +melee goes one higher than +all from essence. So it's up to you if you'd rather buff your abilities, or all the stuff around as well.

There is no Herald with "melee" tag, only 3 with "attack" tag.
Thats why perfect essence of battle (+5 levels to all attack skills on 0.3) adds levels to herald of thunder, blood and ice.
+Melee on qstaves or any other martial weapon does nothing on heralds because they ain't melee.
