In-game Trading QoL improvements

Hi everyone,

I'm most definitely not the first person to talk about this or come up with these ideas, but I wanted to summarize some thoughts on potential improvements for the in-game trading system.

1. Merchant Stash Tabs

In 0.3, Asynchronous Trading was added to the game. It was very well received and turned out to be a huge win for the game.

One thing that could make it even better is the ability to set a fixed price for any given Merchant stash tab. We already have this option in regular stash tabs, so why not add it here as well? I believe many players would appreciate it.

2. Trade Search Bookmarks

Alongside Asynchronous Trading, Trade Search was also added. I think we can all agree that it was a huge QoL feature that streamlined the trading process.

Sometimes we look for a specific item and it may not be available at that moment. It would be great to have a Bookmark system that allows players to save their search parameters and name them for future convenience.

The repetitive process of re-entering search parameters is tedious, and a feature like Bookmarks would solve that.

3. Trade Search Price Check

In the history of PoE, we've had incremental improvements in trading — from forum browsing to an integrated website. However, one area still lacking attention is price checking.

Not everyone has the knowledge to accurately estimate the value of an item. Many of us rely on external tools to help with this.

In my opinion, we are close to having this built directly into the in-game trade window. What I would love to see is the ability to copy-paste an item from my inventory into the Trade Search window, automatically filling in its mods, stats, and other properties. We already have the search system and item copy-paste shortcuts (for chat), so why not combine them and create an in-game price-checking feature? This would reduce the need for external tools and would greatly benefit players using services like GeForce Now, where such tools may not be available. I believe this isn’t a big ask and would help immensely.
