Suggestion for Archon and Infusions
|
Since archon was used by noone and infusions were kind of a flop a cool addition would be for example if going into archon would suck in all infusions. It makes sense thematically and could be made to look cool as hell with you powering up.
Obviously they both needed some number balancing but it would help alleviate the issue for casters running into melee range or out of their way to pick up infusions. Last bumped17 дек. 2025 г., 11:02:10

They consolidated all archons into elemental archon. We'll have to wait and see until friday.

I think they need to change how infusions are used. Instead of burning infusions on spell cast, it should just infuse the caster for X seconds. So all spells during that time period are cast with the infusion.
Also, infusion benefits are weak. They need to be buffed or add multiple infusions to things that only infuse one element type. |

"To add on, I would like it to have generic effects if you use it w/ a non-spell skill. (With Spells each having some specific effect for being Infused depending on the identity/nature of the Spell.)
So, for example, when you have an Infusion and use a non-Spell Skill
-A Fire infused Cold Skill should make a mob Wet for a duration. (Like if you got hit w/ melted Ice.) -Lightning infused Cold could drastically reduce Freeze Buildup but greatly increase Chill Magnitude and also Consumes any existing Freeze to do a bit of damage. OR just apply a reduced Cold Res debuff for a duration. (An Ice cube that got zapped w/ Lightning would do what? Shatter and make things really Cold.) -Cold Infused Fire should add a bit of Oil effect maybe??? (I was imagining like if you wet Lava and came up w/ Rocks or Mud. Figured Oil was close enough. Idk.) -Lightning Infused Fire could give increased Ignite/Flammability Crit Chance (like the hit itself is normal, but the Ignite/Flammability calculation is rolled Lucky or some % increase?) (Imagining a volcano eruption, how the ash in the air can help conduct Lightning storms.) -Fire Infused Lightning could get Ignites based on the Lightning Damage. (Cause Lightning strikes can cause Fire, duh.) -Cold Infused Lightning could be something like hits gain a bit of Elemental Penetration. (I may have lost a bit of steam here. But I was thinking that Lightning hits would have a bit more *snap* to them.) I mean, it doesn't need to be exactly what I suggested. I just feel bad generating Infusions I don't use. I can't speak for a pure Spellcaster that can make better use of them. Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings.
