Did you rebalance the game around lowered pack density?

Sweet. Less mobs. More rewards. Sometimes the game won't run like a slideshow.
That's awesome. But... have you actually tweaked the numbers of endgame activities in order to reflect that or is it something that will be pointed out 3 days into a new expansion and you guy would need to fix it in a major patch. Because I feel like that's going to be the case. There's many builds that worked off mana on kill. That was actually one of few ways they reliably stood on top as mana economy for skills is horrendous at the moment. Was ritual rebalanced for this? Did the tribute values for each mob increase to compensate? Was breach rebalanced for this? After all, if the pack density was lowered but rewards increased that's great. However that doesn't really address the fact that killing many monsters in breach extended the timer. Were corpse related skills rebalanced to compensate? After all, the more corpses you have, the more changes you can generate. The more corpses you can explode for damage, the more minions you can generate. Having quality loot doesn't compensate in that regard. Were remnants compensated for potential loss? After all, the more enemies you kill with specific conditions, the more remnants you generate or randomly drop. Was mana leech/life leech buffed to compensate? Because there is a significant difference between slashing and leeching 35 enemies vs 20. Since those 35 are going to sustain you way, way better. These mechanics work off quantity, not quality. Were the Azmeri Spirits rebalanced? After all, you have to empower quite a bit of monsters to get benefit off it. Does the azmeri empowerment actually work off the "quality" of monsters and not their quality? Patchnotes mentioned nothing. Last bumped9 дек. 2025 г., 15:04:58

Yes they did all that and more its strange to me that players think the 18 years old studio with massive experience and the best 2 arpgs of all time will miss something like this stop the dooming and write actual feedback posts plz

I would say that the map events are separate from the pack changes because breach, expedition, ritual etc etc are separate mechanics and GGG would specify changes within those mechanics. GGG said the pack scaling was reduced with map tier increases. Now ritual is the only thing I'll question since it rely's on the area monsters to function vs say breach which has its own monster density mechanic.

" Jonathan in Tri interview said they rebalanced Ritual to account for the change. The proof is in how things play, of course, but it sounds as though they at least tried. Evasion-only melee character that can kill Ubers with cheap gear (SSF Rise of the Abyssal), no armor, no energy shield, 62k eHP:
