Is Witch hunter explode on kill chance buffed to compensate for 40% reduced mobs?

I mean it is a direct 40% nerf to the ascendancy if not.

The explosion damage is based on the maximum life of the mobs so while there will be less pops they will do more damage since mobs will have more health.

" Yeah that's true I guess, it self balances in that way. It's just a different flavour now. I would take more pops and less damage if given the choice. Edit: actually on further thought this isn't really true as they also have 40% more life so the extra damage they do is equivalent to the extra health they have. It is just a straight up nerf. It still a 10% chance for each kill so unless you are 1 shotting an entire pack at a time (are you?) i dont see how this appear to be a nerf to you.
And if you are 1 shotting an entire pack what do you need the explosion for? If you were killing three mobs with 1 explosive shot on a pack of ten mobs now you're killing three mobs with 2 explosive shots (not sure but lets suppose this due to more life) on a pack of six mobs. The three mobs you kill still have a separate 10% chance to explode, then if the explosion kills another two mobs you'll have other two separate 10% chance to explode and so on, the chain will still happen if possible. Almost looks like a buff to me for the fact that given the same explode chance you clear packs faster due to 40% less density, in comparison it also deals the same exact damage prior 0.4 because 40% more hp is 40% more damage.
