Did GGG Overnerf Campaign Boss Health
|
It's been this way for a few updates now, but am I the only one who feels like they just reduced Boss health way too much through the campaign? It seems to feel alright for the Final Act bosses which are usually still challenging and have even hit a wall with some of my builds. The rest of the bosses have turned into a bit of a joke though. At one point Lachlan in Act 1 was a challenge and how he just gets deleted. Same thing with Titan in Act 2. Anyways if I could give a little feedback I think that GGG may have slightly over done it with how much they reduced their health. Would love to see them try to tune that a bit better, so the bosses feel like bosses again and not oversized Rare monsters.

No. I think you've just gotten better at playing the game. They can't balance campaign around someone who has hundreds of hours, lots of in-game knowledge, etc. You probably get "the right stats" on each piece of gear to maximize your damage, or get the right resists. You also probably know the best skill synergies. Unless they read and follow guides, new players will currently struggle and even hit walls.

You make a good point, but I do believe your wrong. It requires zero thought, and just equipping whatever drops. I changed no way of how I played the game. I feel like their health was actually cut in half. Then you get to am Act boss and it can be like I do zero dps. I just think the scaling is a little off. I know they want it to get progressively difficult as you go through each Act but playing through Acts is too easy, and than hitting an Act boss in the first two Acts is like hitting a wall. Just think it needs more tuning for sure.

" YEah I agree. A middle ground would be nice, somewhere between what it was and what it is now would be perfect IMO. |
