Remove Channeling Effects

I've been so excited to have skills like Volcano and Tornado into the game and I'm still excited to figure it all out. Looking deeper into the skills, "channeling" tag exclusively blocks out features of the game from interacting with them from unique items to support gems. However the skill has an initial effect not related to the core component of the skill, leading it to fall into this category unnecessarily.
It's possible this initial effect of the skill is just used to emphasize and give impact for the skill as it has only the 1 limit. I think it's a great addition and looks great too, but I also think not being able to support channeling skills in these ways limited player creativity and accessibility to fun builds. These channel skills could just have a single effect of the skill that repeats and give the players the choice to play with the support and the way it interacts or not. Closing the entire ability to repeat cast with even stricter support conditions you may want to use, like cooldown supports, in the game further locks out effects from other skills. Even if it would ultimately be worse off to support a channeling skill with echo, allowing the players to decide that is better than just fully disabling the option to.
