Support gems question

So.. if I`m on the Support gem page and uncheck the "Show recommended gems" button, then why I`m getting all these support options which does not work with my currently selected skill ????

Should I see all available supports that work ONLY for my skill?

I also just took the Multishot support for Wyverns Rolling Magma and it doesnt work on it but works on Volcano

Edit: nvm im stupid the weaponswap just fucks with the dex Support gem count and i just couldnt use it with my dex amount
