Benches and other stations not working in new vaal temple when in a party

The new vaal temple mechanic is very bugged when in a party. I exclusively play this game with a friend and every time we go into a vaal temple either one of us or both of us cannot even click on the benches or stations and its wasting our entire runs. We're about to try splitting up to fix this but even if that works it ruins the co-op experience. I've also seen someone else post a thread similar. Please fix asap!
