EXTREMLY Longer Load 0.4.0
|
Despite clearing shader cache, and allowing them to regenerate, loading times when launching game, loading into maps and hideouts, have been excruciating long! Before the update, 0.3 was still ok, or rather, reasonable. NOW? IT's insane... What is happening? Server overload? Then, will owning more supporter packs get connectivity priority? Disappointing, GGG.

Same issue here, it takes AGES to load from one zone to another and even when jumping to a waystone in a zone. GOing back to time is way to long

The same problem, before patch 0.4 i was loading into the game and jumping between locations pretty quickly.
And ysterday as when i updated game to 0.4 first of all it was loading for login screen like few minutes , and finally after queue i logged on character and started playing , i noticed that loadings between locations takes literally few minutes , its not normal , please GGG check this moment. Its unplayable now , i literally cant strt to play this league bcuz of that |

this should of been their #1 priority 1 year ago, with these awful load times

I posted about this yesterday already and hoped that today something would improve but still takes ages, like literally 1-2 minutes to load into location. Worst are towns.
Tried clearing, increasing size, and even disabling shaders cache but no change. |

Same problem. Takes 2 minutes to load going from zone to town. But only about 2 seconds going from town to zone. Tried fiddling with the settings, deleting cache %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2\ShaderCacheD3D12 Still slow.

Tell me GGG, what hardware must we have to ensure the game loads within reasonable time? Hmmmm?
1) Launching game from Desktop and land at the "Login" page 2) Character selection into Hideout Yeah, these 2 waiting time, what hardware we need to keep it within 30s? I'm using Acer Nitro with i7-9750H, comes with GTX 1660Ti, pimped to 2 x 16GB RAM running at 2667MHz. OS on Samsung 990 Pro 2TB, game and steam stuffs on Samsung 9100 Pro 1TB. Of course I am using Vulkan to avoid crashes. Still I never had to wait longer than 1 minute on either scenario #1 nor #2, from 0.1 to 0.3. Why is 0.4 so illogically optimized? Such trade offs for so little improvements? So tell us, which NASA Workstation we need to sell our kidneys to obtain in order to decently play POE2 at this stage? |
