Herald of ash "not usable with current weapon set" after added socket to Talisman

Thread.

I was leveling my Merc with xbow and talisan and was using Herald of Ash for a while.
After I added socet to Talisman I noticed my spirit went unreserved and now it says "not usable with current weapon set" on HoA.

Tried to remove weapon, change it, use another but still cannot activate HoA.

Bought random 2h mace and removed other weapons - still "not usable with current weapon set"

I have same issue. how to fix it?

okay found resolution - click on >arrow on HoA (or any ohter skill) and make sure you have ticket both Weapon Sets I and II.

And this is required any time you level up your spirit gem.

Still needs a fix

do u mean this options? Not clickable for me (im wearing Mace weapons in both sets)

I had the same problem. I don't know why those tick boxes have been reset, I heve never touched that screen in my 1000 hours playing this game.

Mine looks just like this. The I and II are not selectable and red. i have maces and bear talisman. Seems like a bug?

Edit: Herald was working until i tried to equip a new buff. it said i did not have the 30 required spirit, which i did. no gems on either herald or time of need and 60 total available spirit. i meet all requirements for both. I "turned off" herald (which was still working) and now it will not let me turn it back on or select weapon sets, even if i remove time of need and have 60 spirit available.

I was having a similar issue with HoA - the Weapon Set check box fixes it.

I'm having a very similar issue. Was using Savage Fury on druid and enjoying it. Got talisman and sceptre in offhand keystone, now cant use savage fury. Weapon sets for it are both red/uncheckable. I can use Herald of Ash however.
I have enough spirit for both. I read someone say it was a bug with stat requirements, but all my requirements are fine, I tried moving gear around. Sucks
