Staggering Palm inconsistancy using Nova Procteiles II

Hey guys,
I've been enjoying playing Phys QStaff with Whirlingwind Assault as my league starter but noticed that the Nova Projectiles II support is very inconsistent with it. As soon as i slot it in not every Whirling Assault attack shoots out waves in all directions. Especially in tight places it seems to me that as soon as there is not enough space for waves to spawn they dont appear at all. On the other hand i also had them not spawn on open areas and with auto atks aswell so i don't know what the actual issue is. As soon as i stop using it Staggering Palm waves spawn as usual on every attack/hit from Whirling Assault and everything else. Hope to get some explanation as to why it works that way, if its bugged and if it can be fixed soon, cause with 6 waves instead of 1 gameplay would feel a lot better. Not bugged, seemed to have been nerfed for us spinning boys.
From https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3883495 Nova Projectiles no longer causes Supported skills to gain 4 Additional Projectiles or Supported Skills now deal 40% less Damage. Added Nova Projectiles II, causing Supported skills to gain 6 Additional Projectiles, deal 50% less Damage and applying a Cooldown Time of 8 seconds to Supported Skills. |
