Map resetting/clearing upon death by map boss mechanic needs to be GONE

why is this a thing?

we're already punished by the revives available mechanics on map mods, why is it that when there are AVAILABLE REVIVES we're still being punished????

P.S. i just died to map boss on a CORRUPTION NEXUS and the whole map was reset together with the spawning corruption boss when i revived on the checkpoint. bullshit!

Sure, just put it back to 1 portal only like before.
