This league is just not for me.

So I was looking forward to going internalist ignite build league starter, which I played last league and it felt great.
It was not a super fast or necessarily good build, but it was playable and enjoyable. I got arbiter done on it etc.

This is the first time in all of my time playing PoE I have regretted playing a build, and I've tried making several builds that really didn't feel good to play, but never felt regret before.

The change to Infernalist Seething Body is probably the worst when it comes to the ascendancy itself. Instead of getting 50% of damage as fire damage on high infernal flame, you now get Elemental archon.

Archon in itself is a "deal damage on Tuesday" mechanic. Which if you spec into it on the tree makes you be able to damage on Tuesday and Wednesday. Yay.

Now, to work around this and make it "good", the timer gets frozen while you are above high infernal flame(65%). If you go above 100% you lose the buff and it gets put on the cd.

So, what this does is make it that you have the small window of 35% infernal flame where you can juggle it, and force you to not go above 100% or it's gone.

So yay, you can now do damage all days of the week!.... On Tuesdays.

It's just not good or fun to play around with and a straight up nerf in my eyes.


Second of all, I don't know exactly why, but my damage feels MUCH worse this time around. And having scraped the surface of how monster efficiency will affect the feel of the game I honestly feel dread at even the thought of going to maps.
I don't want to spend minutes fighting rare mobs.
I played archnemesis before, don't feel like doing that again.

Secondly, I have specced into damage, playing agressively in the sense that I am putting off going into defensive nodes just to try to get my damage to feel good, but it just isn't. And then you go check someone playing druid and they're doing more damage with 10 times shittier gear and half of the amount of skills even unlocked.

It just makes it feel like I'm wasting my time trying to get something to work that is clearly not designed to work at the moment.

I am going to quit this league - the first time since playing breach league(that's when I started playing) where I've quit a league this early, simply because I'm not having fun.
