Bug/poor design exploding ship act 4

the exploding ship on act 4 in journey's end.

The timer had ran out, it was off screen before the timer finished the sound played for the explosion leading me to think the event had finished, the ship was accessible minutes after the countdown and the event had not finished which caused instant death when stepped on.
