Fake auto trigger

Using Reaper Invocation, when I reach 100% energy my Profane Ritual is supposed to cast automatically, right? But that doesn’t happen. I have to click the Reaper Invocation skill for Profane Ritual to actually trigger. What the hell is the point of that? Then it’s better to just use Profane Ritual directly… makes no sense at all and feels completely bugged
