Free Weekend - First Few Hours Feedback

I played a lot of POE from its early beta days through release and many leagues, but have not signed up for POE2 early access. Which is why this free weekend is my first POE2 experience. Here's a few thoughts from the few hours I spent with it this weekend.

Improvements:
- Simplified flask setup
- Separating skill gems so they're not dependent on gear slots
- Boss fights feel more interactive, largely due to the dodge mechanic
- My preferred playstyle is minions, so I appreciate the auto-summoning mechanic rather than having to spam the skill to keep minions out
- Waypoints are plentiful
- The checkpoint mechanic is great, especially since boss fights seem to last longer

Annoyances:
- Maps are hard to navigate. Several times in the first few areas past town, I had to run back and forth to find quest locations or doorways. They don't show on the minimap until you're practically on top of them.
- Movement speed early on sucks and ways to speed up aren't plentiful.
- Uncut support gems look too much like uncut skill gems. Took me a good long while to realize there was even a difference.
- Lots of one-shot deaths in the early going for those just starting out (or playing SSF)
- Even a small bit of lag makes the boss fights miserable. Dodging telegraphed attacks becomes basically impossible.
- The tooltips for some of the new stuff aren't very clear. Spirit, for instance, isn't very well explained - how to increase it, where it's shown on the interface, how to tell what's using it. I figured it out eventually but a clearly written tooltip in the character screen would have helped a lot.

All of this is just early game, obviously, didn't put in the time to reach later stages. That early game experience is pretty critical, I think, especially for folks like me who know POE already and want to decide if POE2 is worth investing time into.
