Kitoko's Current Wyvern Crash

Whenever I add Kitoko's Current to my build and use an empowered Wyvern ability the game just crashes.
It seems to be related to the Wyvern since my game does not crash if I use another lightning skill.

The supports and other uniques I am using are:

Abilities:
Rend: Rage 2, Rapid Attacks 2, Armour Break 3
Flame Breath: Elemental Armament 2, Supercritical, Burgeon 2
Oil Barrage: Rapid Attacks 1, Elemental Armament

Ascendancy:
Oracle: The Lesser Harm, The Unseen Path

Uniques:
Trampletoe
