The Prisoner act 4 boss fought needs a complete reimagining from the ground up.

I have to take down multiple health bars only to have this PoS start spamming corrupted blood stacks after the 2-3rd reheal phase? Get this garbage outta here.

Also, giving enemies curse resistance based on the level cost is stupid. You already drive the cost of that shit through the roof. So we can't run a lower level curse setup to offset not cranking the already high cost to high heavens with supports?


Rework this.

GGG cooking with the league, druid stuff and varashta. That being said some of these boss designs if a dev member brought me the concept of this boss fight in a showcase I would tell them they got a week to fix it or they can pack their bags as they will be out of a job if not.

Again to reiterate. Bosses with large health bars should not be able to leech back said bar.

Unavoidable Aoe corrupted blood as it fills the whole room with no pocket for avoiding (because why reward tactical positioning?) on top of him healing back at certain hp thresholds. He can just at a whims notice aoe leech back his whole lifebar?


How did this make it out of testing?

Worst designed boss in an arpg ever.

Finally beat him after 4 deaths. I had to disable every single frost skeleton in my build so he couldn't aoe circle slam leech. Even redirecting my army they would still get clipped and he'd heal back to full more than once (i was even standing outside the main circle in arena as obvious to avoid phase leech as is obvious.)




That being said this boss fight is egregious as hell and his aoe circle leech slam ability needs to go, his leech you have to deter with ballista is fine and i think a fair "phase" type mechanic. Just get rid of the aoe leech off his slam and the fight is fine.



I have my fire djinn supported in such a way that i rely on freezes to deal extra damage with supports.


Having a boss that forces me to disable 4/5th's of my spirit investment and a core part of not only how i crowd control but also synergizes with my main class damage ability feels fucking terrible to experience.
