Expedition logbook not working

Seems that with the latest update, the way to open the logbook portal has changed (on console; previously it was simply R1 in the expedition map when you were over the area you wanted). With the additional step of confirming your selecting and THEN R1. When I do this, and I’ve attempted with multiple logbooks that have all been collected since 0.4 release, on all kinds of maps, the portals don’t open.
I’ve tried multiple ways of trying to fix this (closing all previously opened portals, waiting for all previous instances to reset, speaking with dannig through all his dialogue).

Any advice on how to get this working again would be great!

Having similar problems, specifically on ps5.

same here. on xbox console i am unable to do any logbooks. went into standard to see if that would work. still no dice

The same thing happens on Xbox Series x ,expeditions don't work at all
