Make "Mirage Deadeye" follow the player, not to be stationary

in 0.4 a new Deadeye ascendency skill was introduced called "Mirage Deadeye". It is a Mirage that appears couple of seconds than vanishes.

The problem is I often shoot arrows in "empty space" to maintain Tailwind. That results in creating "Mirage Deadeye" in undesirable places, essentially wasting the buff.

Therefore why is the "Mirage Deadeye" not following the player when its active? Why is it stationary?
