Game randomly freezes for 10-20 seconds every 30 mins or so

As title says. Game freezes and goes to loading screen for about 10-20 seconds. Then goes back to where it froze up and is playing like normal. Happening all the time.

Yeah I'm having the same issue with a similar setup. It essentially acts like a long pause (mobs don't move etc). Feels to me like it might be internet related (game losing connection to the server and freezing as a result).

i have telemetry enabled, it says "shader" is the issue

it says that game is reading 1 gig of stuff from my ssd pretty much every loading screen,

i have a feeling my 12 gig of vram are not being properly used and the game is constantly fetching files to feed the graphics card, and once in a while it just flushes the vram and has to reload the whole game or something, i'm no expert.

so either nvidia drivers are acting up or the game doesnt preload stuff correctly.

Same here 5080 & 9950x3d; @GGG this seems a 50 series GPU issue, since all my friends with 40 series are stable and the 50 series ones are having the freeze problem.

Tried 5 different drivers, still same issue: 581.29 / 581.57 / 581.80 / 581.94/ 591.44

0.3 had the same problem until driver ver.581.57 came out...now every driver has the freezing issue.

What drivers do you currently have? my friends with 40 series are on 581.57 and they don't have the freeze, you can try that too

Edit: So what fixed it for me is that I set Max Shaders to 100 and added an exclusion for PoE2 shaders on Windows Security. I don't know which of the two did the trick, but I've been playing for more than 2 hours with no issues, when previously I could hardly go more than half an hour without the freeze into loading thing.

I already had shader cache set to 100gb, im gonna try to exclude the shader folder from win defender now, thanks for the update.
