Game interaction stops working – character cannot move after certain actions (PoE 2)

I encountered a recurring issue where core character interaction stops working while the game itself continues running.

In both instances, I could still move the mouse cursor and open UI elements such as the inventory, but the character would no longer respond to movement inputs or actions.

First instance:
After throwing an item into a chasm, the character became unresponsive. This was not a major issue as I could exit the instance and recover the item afterward.

Second instance (critical):
This occurred during a Trial of Ascendancy. I successfully completed the trial and received the Ascendancy, but immediately afterward my character could no longer move or interact with the environment. Because of this, I was unable to collect the trial rewards or turn in keys.

This was especially disheartening at a low level, where every bit of progress and loot matters. After this happened, I logged out and stopped playing for the night.

Please investigate, as this issue can result in lost rewards and progression, particularly in important content like Ascendancy trials.

Also got this bug. I can't move my character with the mouse, any more. Period. I always get this clock face with the hands under my character. I can roll around, but that's it.

Tried restarting game.
Logging Into different Character.
Dying doesn't fix it, either.

Edit: Kept going through portals/waypoints
and it eventually fixed.

Edit2: not fixed, and persists.
Game is unplayable.
When you warp point out to an area and portal back into town, you can move, but when you walk outside or warp point back to an area the clock hands appear again and you can't move with the mouse. Hopefully After maintenance, I can move again. Whenever that will be. Lol.
