Why patch out multiple level up effects?

A lot of the new level up cosmetics seem intentionally crafted to be used together, like how Blood Moon is above the rest in the middle of the screen. It forms a beautiful explosion of vibrancy and delight.

I was just about to buy the Kalguuran pack solely for the Astronomer Level Up, and now I won't be doing that. This will be the first league I haven't purchased anything. Having one infinite category seems like an easy way to get us to keep spending money.

If you're worried about performance or future intensive effects, why not put a cap of 3 or 6? Or limit only the extreme effects to 1. It's not like finisher effects, where there might be a dozen playing at once during critical gameplay moments. This also separated PoE1 visually from 2, and made level ups in 2 feel different.

Again, this seems like a simple method to get more MTX purchases. Why would I buy more level up effects if I already have one or two I like? Now one of the most frequent recent pack items is useless to me.

They definitely need to bring this back. The dopamine hit from leveling up was absolutely insane.

my level up effects were the plant growth and the blood moon above me. It was so epic
this honestly makes me sad they patched this out lol

They do stuff like this and I wonder "who asked for this? Or complained about it?" Makes no sense.
Having Multiple effects might even make them more money xD

probably patched out because it was unintended but I don't see why with enough demand they can't bring it back.
I didn't know multiple lvl up effects were even a thing but now i want it back to test some combinations

GGG will make more money by selling mtx this way too so why not?
Hmm... Annoying. I have two different level up effects that work specifically because one is a "Level up Effect" while the other is "Ring of the Black Star" which produces a level up effect.

They work together in PoE1 and still do because they're different slots so I'll be annoyed if they change Ring of the Black Star when it comes to PoE2. I'm always careful with my purchases.

I made a post a long time ago about how niche amulet and ring MTX were and likely not going to have much lasting purchase potential for what should be obvious reasons.

They just made it a whole lot more obvious.

I agree with this feedback. The reason I purchased multiple level-up effects was because I could stack and use several of them at the same time.

Using multiple level-up effects during the leveling process was a genuinely fun dopamine hit.

if GGG plan to continue selling level-up effects through Mystery Boxes and Supporter Packs, a change that limits us to using only one level-up effect significantly reduces the incentive to purchase them.

Please revert this change.

Damn.

I can't ask for a refund because I bought one of mine before PoE2 came out but I'd consider an e-mail demanding a no token refund. They kinda robbed you if you those were after PoE2 release.
