Unable to complete rooms in Vaal Temple

I was doing the "Elite Legion" room and had killed everthing but the room did not complete. Before today's update, when i could not complete a room i was able to create a portal and go into the temple again. After the update this is no longer an option. I had to go back to character selection and start in town. This made me lose my run
