[Feedback] As the Whispers Demand (Ritualist)

First of all, I would like to say that I'm very happy with the massive duration buff that can be further increased to actually pretty long durations with Prolonged Duration suppport gem and the Arvil's Wheel unique shield on weapon swap - something close to 4 min buff duration on later mapping is achievable.
BUT there are 4 things that I would really like to see changed with this skill: #1 (must change): Teleport Stealing that monster buff with that teleport is not an upside, it's a massive downside that especially for weaker chars can be a death sentence. Annecdotal: I very recently had killed the Hyena boss and that boss area had 2 abyss pits that then spawned a swarm of rares. I tried to get ou tof that arena asap to get some distance but it kept teleporting me back in. I was doomed for death. Even for stronger chars that don't care (usually the HH users) the random teleports can still be annoying due to mini backtracking annoyance or teleporting you away when you're just about to pick up some loot. #2 (must change): Corpse targeting The targeting for rare monster corpses is a bit fiddly. Not only are they visually a bit hard to see but you also have to be very accurate with your click. I don't know how many times I was thinking "dude, why am I self-casting, I'm right next to that corpse!" - I think it would go a long way if the char would do a slight movement towards the corpse and the game would automatically recognize it as a "monster cast" when done very close to a corpse. This would significantly reduce the accidental self-casts. #3 (must change): Buffs on area changes Right now whenever you change an area you lose all your hard gained buffs. With the league mechanics requiring to do that (Abyss pits, Vaal temple, ...) this needs to be changed so changing areas doesn't make you lose all those buffs. #4 (would be nice): Cast time Currently the default cast time on monsters is 5 seconds. It would be cool if that could be decreased to something like 2.5 - 3 sconds with a support gem and/or some 1h unique weapon (weapon for cast time reduction, Arvil's Wheel for duration increase). Looks like after initially the cooldown wasn't present on the skill it now is with it's 8 second duration.
Question: Why am I not able to socket a Cooldown Recover II support into the skill? |
