Wolf abilities are just Qstaff abilities and gameplay is the same too

Abilities:
[Pounce] = [Hand of Chayula] but worse. [Cross Slash] = [Frozen Locus]. [Lunar Assault] = [Wave of Frost] but better. And the gameplay: - (Both) Jump in applying mark(and curse for qstaff). - (Wolf) Attack until Frozen (Both) Attack to stack ice Fragments/ PowerCharges/ Combo/ Volatility - (Both) Burst the damage I noticed that when leveling with my Wolf enjoyer buddy. We did the same thing in campaign, Qstaff was just better. In the endgame you can actually evolve the Qstaff build in various ways, while Wolf remains the same. Last bumped16 дек. 2025 г., 13:07:56

Well, like any Attack Build focus on Freeze ? Debuff -> Trigger Freeze -> Payoff. Cold XBow & Bow play exactly the same except it's a ranged gameplay.

This game is shit.
The more they pigeon hole everything into smaller and smaller boxes, the worse everything gets. I hate the way pretty much every mechanic works. The changes to DoTs to scale them off of hit damage instead of scaling them separately against the base shows their intent behind everything. It's worth noting that +2 maps are a dangerous thing. " Yeah you can pick differences when looking through the microscope, you're right. Gameplay is the same. Frozen Locus was an example of ability and how it works -> big damage, jump away. You utilize it differently, but in essence, it's the same thing. I play melee, I want something mechanically different than we already got. |

Yeah as someone who has played staff a lot, and currently on wolf, it's pretty much the same gameplay with cooler visuals, that's it.
I think most people are in agreement that the skill design atm is really lame, forcing everyone to play similar builds. Feels more like diablo 4 than poe now, which kinda sucks. |

I wish it was as good as quarterstaff.

Wolf is amazing, my favorite build i played was my ice strike monk. So i made a wolf monk.
I'm enjoying it a lot, the animations are really cool, the skills synergy also. I dont understand why you guys always have to be negative into any little details. Just to make posts? Like Djirane said, it's freeze based, kinda how freeze work. I have a lot of trouble to see how cross slash = frozen locust too tbh lol And pounce = hand of chayula just because of the mark? Look more like vaulting impact if anything. SSF player
