Doedre's Undoing Feedback and Curse cost too high
|
Hello,
Since the last patch, GGG has changed Doedre's Undoing to now scale damage with the gem level of the curse it is socketed in. However, the damage of Doedre is pretty lack luster which means you need to invest a stupid amount of spell levels in order for it to do relevant damage. Unfortunately, mana cost is increasing with each new level and it is becoming unsustainable, making it super hard to scale into the endgame. For reference, my Elemental Weakness gem level is 36 and with 0 cost multiplier but eldritch battery, I have to spend 373 mana (or 746 life if you're bloodmage) 2.5 times per seconds (which is not even high cast speed) for a total of 932 mana per seconds (or 1865 life per seconds). You'd think with that amount of ressource cost, it should do really high damage? Well it doesn't since you can't use any of the big items that used to scale your spell damage last season because you now need gem level everywhere you can. They also didn't fix any of the support gem interactions that were not working like Atalui's Bloodletting for example or any of the specific damage type increases (like "more damage" or "spell damage"). Last thing, the damage range of Doedre's Undoing is way too high. While other spells usually get a damage range of about 50% of the minimum roll, Doedre's Undoing is 85% more damage; Meaning that from 1 hit to another you can do super varying damage... (36 gem level => 1883-3496 base damage) Tldr: reduce curse mana cost (especially in the later levels), reduce the base damage range so it's more inline with other spells, and fix the various bugs/interactions with the other support gems Последняя редакция: Wyf#9364.
