Map Objectives Misleading

This is the second time I've noticed that the map objectives seem to be saying one thing but is not correct -- at least in what it attempts to display.

In the image, you see Essences have been checked off -- which I think to mean that there are no longer any more Essence encounters left in the map, but you can clearly see that I'm heading towards a part of the map that still contains an essence encounter.

I've seen this for another mechanic, which I don't remember which it was.

I've noticed that the map objective doesn't outright display the a Vaal encounter is in the map when during this league, it's in every map.
